Rising Fighter — take a nobody to a world title

A free MMA manager game you play in your browser. Pick a prospect, run their camp, and decide everything that matters: the training, the cut, the contract, the trash talk, the game plan.

★★★★★ 4.95 · 95 player reviews · built for a phone held upright

Reading this in English? The whole game is translated, but it currently opens in Korean. Open the settings menu on the first screen and switch the language to English — it sticks on that device. We are working on making English the default for English-speaking visitors.

You don't throw the punches. You make the calls.

Rising Fighter is not a fighting game with a combo meter. It is a career sim. Which discipline gets this week's training hours. How many kilos you try to strip before the weigh-in. Whether the purse and win bonus on the table are worth signing. How far you go on the microphone at media day. Every choice moves a number, and on fight night those numbers decide what happens.

That means there is more than one way to win. Wrestle your way to decisions. Drop a division and bully people who are bigger on paper. Or break an opponent's head before the cage door shuts and finish it in round one. Each route has a bill: a brutal cut leaves you empty in round three, and a personal shot at a press conference can turn the crowd against you.

Two ways to play

The two save files are independent — starting one does not overwrite the other.

Mode 01

Story Mode

Be the fighter

One career, from an unknown debut to a world title.

  • Six weight classes, live rankings, title eliminators
  • Contract talks — purse and win bonus
  • Injuries, fouls and controversial decisions
  • Crack the top ten and the national team opens up, then the World Cup
Mode 02

Director Mode

Be the coach who builds them

Create a coach, open a gym, and turn membership income into champions.

  • Gym tiers that improve scouting, income and signing power
  • Develop several prospects at once
  • Call instructions live during their fights — how well they follow depends on trust and temperament
  • A gym hall of fame that fills up with the champions you produced

Media day is the heart of it

Before every fight you take the microphone. Quiet confidence, a light dig, a personal shot — or the thing about their life you were never supposed to bring up. The harder you swing, the more damage you do to their head, and the more the crowd can turn on you instead.

And it is read out loud. The staredown is something you hear, not just something you scroll past.

183 fighters, and every one of them has a life

Everyone on the roster carries a backstory — raised in care, a single parent who worked nights, a divorce, a cancer scare. Sixteen story archetypes sit under individual histories.

It is a system, not set dressing. The trash talkers and the berserkers weaponise the other guy's history. Your own becomes the thing you draw on when you are behind.

Temperament is your playstyle

What you pick changes which taunts you can use, which strategies land, and how fans react.

Trash Talker Berserker Showman Sportsman Devout National Hero Silent Warrior

Two fighters with identical attributes produce completely different careers depending on this one choice. Finishing a run and starting again with a different temperament is a genuinely different game.

The career actually runs

Camp & condition

Assign training week by week. Push too hard and fatigue and injuries pile up.

The weight cut

Miss weight and you pay a fine and lose face. Make it the hard way and you have nothing left in the third.

Contracts

Negotiate purse and win bonus. Climbing the rankings gives you cards to play.

Coaches

Hire coaches to steer how you grow — and watch them snipe at each other on social media.

Money & stardom

What you spend your purse on feeds back into name recognition and fanbase.

National team → World Cup

Break into the top ten and selection opens up, with the World Cup above it.

Three difficulties

Rookie, Pro and Legend. Legend is genuinely punishing.

Title night

Winning a belt gets its own send-off.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of game is Rising Fighter?

It is an MMA management simulation, not a fighting action game. You pick an unknown fighter and take them to a world title by choosing the weekly training split, how much weight to cut, which contract to sign, how hard to go on the microphone at media day, and the game plan for each round. The fights then play out from those decisions.

Is it free, and do I need to download anything?

It is free and there is nothing to install. Open risingfighter.com in a phone or desktop browser and it starts. The layout is built for a phone held upright.

Is the game available in English?

Yes — the whole game is translated. It currently opens in Korean, so on your first visit open the settings menu and switch the language to English. That choice is remembered on the device.

Do I need an account? How is progress saved?

You can start without signing up, but that progress only lives on the device you are using. Creating an account stores your career on the server, so you can move between phone and desktop and recover it if you clear your browser data. If you plan to build a long career, make the account first.

What is the difference between story mode and director mode?

In story mode you are the fighter, building one career from debut to title shot. In director mode you create a coach, open a gym, and use membership income to recruit and develop prospects into champions. The two save files are separate; only the in-game coin balance is shared.

Is there a mobile app?

A mobile app is planned for September 2026. Until then the browser version is the full game, and an account carries the same save into the app when it ships.
